How Fan‑Pledge WorksFall 2026 Fundraiser

Fan‑Pledge is a donation‑based fundraiser — there are no products to sell or deliver. Students gather a list of family and friends, then reach out to invite them to support the band directly. It keeps the focus on our program instead of on selling items.

01The Process, Step by Step

1
Now → Sept. 10
Collect Contacts

Your child brings home a contact worksheet and, with your help, fills in names, emails, and cell numbers for family and friends who might support the band. The goal is 20 contacts. Sheets are due back in band class by Thursday, September 10. (Students with 20+ contacts by then are entered in a drawing for one of three $50 Amazon gift cards!)

2
In Class, Before the Event
Set Up Their Account

On a class day before the event, students log in and enter their contacts into their own Fan‑Pledge account — think of it as their personal "command center" for the fundraiser. We set it all up together at school, so there's nothing to do at home.

3
Sept. 17 — The Pizza Party!
Reach Out on Event Day

Students gather in the band hall, enjoy pizza, and spend the event reaching out to their contacts through Fan‑Pledge to invite donations. Prizes and drawings happen throughout — it's a fun, high‑energy afternoon.

02What the Pizza Party Looks Like

The event runs Thursday, September 17 from 4:15–5:45 pm in the band hall. Students may stay after dismissal until the event begins, and pickup is at 5:45 pm. Here's the flow of the afternoon:

After school → 4:15 pm
Gather & get settled
Students are welcome to stay in the band hall after dismissal until the event begins. They'll need a fully charged phone and laptop for making calls and sending messages.
4:15 pm
Pizza dinner & kickoff
Pizza is served, teams get organized, and directors go over how the afternoon works.
4:30–5:45 pm
Reaching out to contacts
Students call, text, and email the contacts from their worksheet, inviting them to support the band. This is the heart of the event.
Throughout
Prizes, drawings & team contests
Cash prizes for top amounts raised, plus candy and food prizes. Students compete in teams — the team with the highest average per student wins a trip to Main Event!
5:45 pm
Pickup
The event wraps and families pick up their students.
A Note on Phones

If your child has a phone, please have them bring it (fully charged) on event day. For students without one, a limited number of office phones will be available, though there may be a wait. Parents are warmly welcome to come and offer a phone for your child to use — it makes a real difference in how many contacts they can reach.

03How Parents Can Help

  • Help your child brainstorm 20 contacts — relatives, family friends, neighbors, and coworkers all count.
  • Feel free to take the worksheet to your workplace and ask coworkers if they'd like to be added.
  • Let contacts know your child will reach out on event day (Sept. 17) so they're expecting the message.
  • Double‑check the spelling of emails and phone numbers so every contact can be reached.
  • Join us on event day! Come by the band hall on September 17, offer a phone for your child to use, and help them make their calls and cheer them on — an extra hand (and phone) is a big help, especially if your child doesn't have one.

04If Your Child Missed the Input Day

Normally there's nothing to do at home — we walk every student through account setup together in class. But if your child was absent on the day we input contacts, they can set up their account at home so they don't fall behind. Use the direct link below and follow these steps.

Only if your child missed class
Please don't do this at home unless your child was absent on the input day. We set every student up together in class, and doing it early on your own can create duplicate accounts. When in doubt, wait — we've got them covered at school.
Open Fan‑Pledge → www.fpfans.com/818c53
  1. Click Menu and choose Join.
  2. Enter the school code: 81889‑47853
  3. Find your child's name on the list — or click "I am not on the list" if it isn't there.
  4. Register the account and save the password somewhere safe. (Keep the account under the student's name, even if a parent is helping enter contacts.)
  5. Add your contacts from the worksheet. Did Fan‑Pledge last year? Look for the "Load and Save" button to bring over your old contacts.
Still Stuck?

No problem — your child can catch up with us in band class, or reach out to any director and we'll help them get set up.

05The Goal — and the Math

Our program goal this year is $70,000. With every student participating, that's only about $280 each to hit our target — and many students raise far more.

20 contacts × $25 minimum gift each = up to $500

The more a student raises, the more prizes, contests, and rewards they unlock. It all adds up to the trips, scholarships, and opportunities we want to fully fund for our students.

Prefer to give a different amount? Family and friends can donate any amount online — just include the student's name so it's credited correctly.

06Common Questions

Is my information safe?

Yes. Contacts are strictly private and protected. Fan‑Pledge does not share or sell any data collected — it's used only for this fundraiser.

Are we asking for money now?

No. Right now we're only collecting contact information. No one is asked to donate until students reach out on event day.

Do I need to set up the account at home?

No — we handle account setup together in class. Just help your child gather great contacts on the worksheet.

What if my child is in athletics?

Students with a practice conflict should check with their coach. If they must be at practice, they'll be excused from the event — but all students still participate in the fundraiser.
